Marthe Krisoffersen’s Tough Day in Liberec 2009

Ladies 4 X 5Km relay world championships was exciting! Felt really bad for Norway’s Marthe Kristoffersen who anchored for the Norwegians but just couldn’t hold on at the finish, which put the Norwegians in fourth. The kid (she’s only 19) was upset at the finish. Being edged out by the Charlotte Kalla isn’t anything to be too upset about. However, when anchoing for the a Norwegian relay team I guess there is considerable pressure on you.  Anyway, look for Marthe to be back (she finished 12th in the 30K)  and to rock Vancouver in 2010!
